#41 Hammer Black Widow Sting

Tahniah diucapkan kepada Ust. Borhan yang telah berjaya memiliki bola sendiri. Ust. telah memilih Hammer Sting 12.8 lbs sebagai bola sulung di samping sebiji beg berwarna merah garang... geng geng merah ni ley join cik ina aero tu... ngeh ngeh ngeh! Kos bagi bola ialah RM400.00 tanpa insert dan thumb kerana ust. belum bersedia belajar hook.. katanya x rela lagi! justeru ust. mengambil jalan selamat dengan membuat tebukan spinner/straiter. Ust. bermen bek semalam walaupun pada awalnya bergelut untuk menyesuaikan diri dengan bola pada beberapa games yang pertama (orang len bergelut beberapa frames yang pertama jer ust... ngeh ngeh ngeh!). Lawan AED boleyla menang Ustaz... sayur kubis jer! oppsss... i did it again!

Sting actually a very good ball for hooker due to her (her digunapakai sebab bola nie bola widow... black widow to be exact!) agressiveness at the back end. Nonetheless this characteristic will help spinner/straiter to hit the strikes easily since it will smash the pin like crazy, carrying more weight!  Suitable for medium to heavy oil conditions.

"What I Was Looking For In This Ball Layout:

With the success of just about every Widow before it I used a very simple layout that should give me a good read on the overall motion of the newest Widow to date.

With a 5 x 5 layout I get to see the potential of the ball to get down the lane, even with the strong coverstock. I also get to see how much this can really move on the back end of the lane.

What I Ended Up With in the Ball and Layout:

I got exactly what you would expect from a Widow. A really strong ball motion right off my hand with a very smooth transition from the heads to the mid-lane. The ball seemed to be fine clearing the friction, if the lanes started to dry out quicker this ball may have read the friction a little too early. Nothing a little polish could not handle. I think on most house shots this would hold up just fine for quite some time.

The part that surprised me was the amount of energy this ball had left over for the back ends! With the strong cover and the 2000 grit Abralon you would expect to see some roll out or at least a little loss of motion on the back part of the lane. But the Sting as most of the Widows before it kept on moving right through the pins.

All in all another successful Black Widow series release for Hammer."

"I was very disappointed with the reaction and the longevity of the Black Widow Sting. That something special seems to be missing from this ball. It rolls ok but I would stay with any other ball in the Widow line, except for the Bite, I think any one knows to avoid the Bite. The ball is very high maintenance and does not finish through the pins like its predecessors. The only thing that would make this ball worth it is that this ball needs to be in the 84.99 price point range, pay more than that and you could have got something more for your buck. I would also lower the perfect scale rating 10 pins if it were me."

Besela mana ade barang 100% orang suka... apatah lagi DEKAN! Mesti ada yang suka mesti ada yang x suka, tul x?... oppsss! hah statement gitu... well something to think about i guess (sila renung-renung untuk mereka yang bakal jadi pemimpin organisasi). As for me if 10-25% of your subordinates don't like you much (i don't know if 'hate' can be a good word here... ) statistically all of them are outliers (tu pun dah terlebih tolerance... bese less than 5% tau!). But if more than 25%... something is terribly wrong with you, mmm.. your attitude indeed! Time for change...
